Museum «Tula Ginger bread» (Tula pryanik) and Confectionary «Yasnaya Polyana»
Museum “Tula Ginger bread” is one of the youngest Tula museums but for two year of its work it has become very popular not just in Tula, but also in Moscow, Kaluga, Serpukhov, Chekhov and many other cities of our country. In the museum the history of the unique ancient delicacy which came to us from the ancient centuries and endured rises and falls, losses and revival is introduced. You will be told about old traditions and ceremonies. You will see the way ginger bread is cooked today and you will watch the ginger bread prepared on the ancient moulds. Here the exposition shows the smallest ginger bread which size is a little more than a 50 kopeck coin and the giant pood one, the only in Russia. While visiting the museum you even can also learn the history of our country and events which took place for many years and which are introduced on ginger breads. The museum exposition shows ginger breads of different types: congratulatory, festive, by individual order, historical, name, figured and honorary.
Besides tourists have an opportunity to try ginger breads with tea and buy the freshest delicious souvenirs.
